The tour starts and finishes at the Freycinet Lodge (2898 Freycinet Drive, Freycinet National Park). The meeting point is inside the Lodge in the Hazards Lounge, located downstairs opposite the restaurant, at 9:00am sharp. It is important we get away on time so please ensure you are ready to depart at this time with everything you need. The tour concludes back at the Freycinet Lodge at approximately 2:30pm.

Of course! Please park in the guest parking available and make your way inside to meet your guide and group downstairs in the Hazards Lounge. The Freycinet Lodge is a 30-40 minute walk from the Coles Bay along beautiful Richardson’s Beach if you wish to walk.

Great question! We have a range of different itineraries to offer based on weather and each will slightly change the amount of kilometres walked and difficulty. But as a general rule, you will need to be capable of walking approximately 10km with a lightweight day pack over varied terrain including beaches, granite stairs and bush trails.
The most challenging part of our tour is the ascent to the Wineglass Bay Lookout. Depending on which direction we tackle it (determined on weather), you will need to climb a series of stairs to reach the top. This will be over a period of 30-45 minutes. During this time, your guide will stop to share points of interest, allowing the group to catch their breath, have a drink and prepare for the next
The more physically prepared you are, the more enjoyable your walk will be, so we suggest some prior training if you feel concerned. It's as simple as going on a long walk on the weekend or taking the stairs instead of the lift!
If you have any concerns about fitness requirements, please feel free to get in touch.

This is an all weather tour. In saying that, your safety is our main priority and in the event of extreme weather warnings, we will be forced to cancel the tour and provide a full refund. Your guide will contact the Aqua Taxi the evening before the tour to ensure the safest possible option is offered to suit wind conditions. We do have a number of alternative itineraries to the advertised itinerary and provide wet weather gear. Please note that if it is too unsafe to use the Aqua Taxi, a circuit itinerary on foot will be enjoyed (no boat).
